Survey shows the outbreak Chikungunya at Paris. The reason behind it is the large number of tourists coming to the place regularly from all the parts of the world.
The most regretting news here is that no such vaccine or prevention treatment to the disease are available till now. It is a disease transmitted through mosquitoes bite.
So prevention to the issue is nothing but to avoid staying in or visiting areas with mosquitoes. proper care should be taken to not to come with contact of mosquitoes. while sleeping, use a mosquito repellent or mosquito-net if needed.
Things to be considered if identified with Chikungunya:
- Drinking plenty of fluids can help you.
- Keep yourself away from further mosquito bites.
- You can get some relieve by taking Paracetamol.
- Avoid taking non-steriodal anti-inflammatory drugs during the fever.
- before taking any treatment tell your doctor about the current medication you are on.
